Analyze your tick-time samples

Paste actual MSPT (milliseconds per tick) measurements. At a target of 20 ticks per second, a tick has a 50 ms budget. This calculator summarizes your input; it does not measure a server or infer guaranteed player capacity.

Keep a reproducible test record

Record the exact software, plan and workload beside your numbers. Your draft stays in this browser until you download it; it is not sent to support or analytics.

A test you can repeat

Back up the world and record the exact server build, Java release, configuration, plugins/mods and allocated resources.
Reproduce a normal busy session. Keep the workload and player count comparable; an empty-world test cannot establish busy-server performance.
Profile while the issue happens. Paper’s current guide documents /spark profiler start --timeout 600 for a ten-minute profile.
Save the report and test notes. Change one relevant setting and repeat before deciding whether a hardware upgrade is needed.
